Grace Eccleston

Grace Eccleston is a final year student studying Russian and German at the University of Exeter. During her year abroad she studied in Yaroslavl and Kazan, taught English to Russians, and worked as an intern for Berlin-based organisation the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, where she created and translated publicity materials for intercultural events. She has had writing published on thirdyearabroad.com and in the English-language newspaper The Moscow Times. She also has worked as a freelance translator work for German health and travel websites.

Marie Krebs

Project Manager, Finance

 

Marie Krebs is a French international student studying a masters degree in Translation Studies at the University of Exeter. She has a bachelor degree in English Literature, Language and Culture, and one in Linguistics. She has studied in Alicante, Spain for a year as an Erasmus Student. Dynamic and conscientious, Marie also has strong management and customer service experience.

Neil McCallum

Translator, Localisation Specialist

 

Neil McCallum is a final year student at the University of Exeter, studying Modern Languages and Cultures. He has travelled around Europe and to Central America, including spending a year in Russia seeing many of its eccentricities and becoming an ardent defender of the country. During his time in Russia, he worked as a translator for the State Hermitage Museum, a presenter for ITIS, and an English teacher. He has extensive experience in translation, both technical and literary, and has recently translated and reviewed a collection of previously untranslated stories from Chekhov's early works due to be released this Autumn in the American Journal for Russian Studies.

 

 

 

Josie Rogers

Translator, Localisation Specialist,        Web Designer

 

Josie Rogers is a final year student at the University of Exeter, studying International Relations and Russian. She has had experience in the Russian speaking world, living for one year in St Petersburg where she studied the language and worked as an english teacher. Josie's interest in the region has led her to be involved in charity work in Estonia, interpreting for children attending summer camps, and she will soon be relocating to Tallinn.
